So today in the British Calendar is probably the weirdest/amazing celebration. In the short of it, today we celebrate foiled plot of a guy who tried to blow up parliament, but the story is a lot more gory than that! I was trying to explain this to a Canadian friend: she really didn’t understand why we were celebrating this!
Anyway for us this measn toffee apples, candy floss, fun fairs, hook-a-duck, sparklers, marshmallows, bonfire and fireworks! It is one of my favourite nights!
It’s nights like this that make me wish I had a better camera!
And I finally got to wear my mint wellies ;)
